Camp Jamie Volunteers Needed: Would you be willing to spare a weekend of your time to give to a child who is grieving? Camp Jamie is a weekend camp designed to help those children who have experienced the death of a loved one. The camp provides children with an opportunity to share their feelings of loss with other children and learn that these feelings are normal. Camp Jamie is a safe environment where children may speak openly about their grief. Each child is paired with an adult “Big Buddy” (that would be you!) to support them emotionally through the weekend. The camp will be one of fun and enjoyment, with opportunities for brief, informal group discussions led by trained volunteers. Children also enjoy various “camp” activities. Camp Jamie is held this year on May 18th, 19th and 20th, 2012, Friday evening through early Sunday afternoon.

They don't want to miss this incredible story of forgiveness, faith, hope and healing. I have attached a brief clip of what you can expect.....(attachment) Ask everyone to like us on their Facebook pages so everyone will hear and tune in. Our Facebook page is The Source Radio Network. Chuck Brownlowe and his family have found themselves in a desparate situation. Because of SERIOUS health issues on Chuck’s part he has been unable to maintain the upkeep of his home. He is in real danger of being fined and his house having a lien put against it by the HOA. If not us then who?

Dear Church,
Dave Pennington has been battling cancer for a few years now. His certainty of who God is in this stretch has been an inspiration to both his Tuesday night table and to all of those who have had the privilege of sharing this journey together. Dave is very weak and unless God intervenes is very clearly numbering his days. One of the last unfinished tasks he would love to have resolved is getting his roof replaced. This would help him feel like Marcia will be safe and cared for.
A friend of his has arranged for getting the materials at a greatly reduced price. I’m wondering who would be willing to be part of loving Dave and Marcia by helping with taking the old singles off and putting the new ones on?
Time is really of the utmost importance now so I’m wondering who would be available for our Serving Saturday – May 19th to help?
In HIM,
Paul

Serving Ernestine and Margaret Hite in Brunswick from Bernie Thompson
• We had a total of 4 People including myself. We painted the bathroom and rebuilt a porch and ramp that was rotted. I don't have any pictures since our camera was dipped in ham grease and that was not a good thing. I am sure will have something to say about the influence of the split toe.
• We will finish up this Saturday after the plumbers finish their part this week. I will need 1-2 people. In May we have to finish the Chuck Brownlowe project. We plan on doing this on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. Bill Stansell is on board but I will need a few other people to help install a outside door.

Help Needed Tomorrow!!!!
There are no new projects for this Sat.
We are finishing up on Victor's Moms house. (745 Calliope Circle in Mt. Airy) Start around 8:30 am and we are building a little deck and ramp inside her garage. Could use another 2-3 people who are handy in this area.
Also Bill Stansell will be finishing up in Middletown with Don Lucas at Tina's house. Could use a couple of people there to help paint garage door and windows in garage. Bill will take care of finishing installing the garage door.
Anybody available call me 301-639-5943.

Car needed: I wanted to let you know there is a lily (single mother of 3) in need of a car. She is a hard worker and wonderful woman of God. She has been taking the bus and cabs everywhere. Contact Jodi Lynn Foss 240.601.8142
Another Car needed: Brothers in Christ – We have a request. A young lady who has made a huge turnaround in her life over the past year (going back to school, working two jobs, and more), was recently in a car accident (not her fault). She was told this past Friday by the insurance company that her car has been totaled. Her car was valued at just under $2,000, so finding a viable, safe replacement is problematic. We are NOT asking for contributions, and are more than willing to pay fair market value. We are simply asking to spread the word – if anyone is aware of an older, but safe, roadworthy car for no more than $2,000, please let us know as soon as possible – the rental car provided by the insurance company needs to be returned this Wednesday, November 30th. Please note, she has very little available to get any repairs done to pass inspection. Contact person is Jim Baker – (301) 788-9459 or jimbaker@fpca.net Thanks, and God Bless!
Can you or your group, friends, church or family help?
Somebody Cares, TTT and the Well Of Hope are asking for your help to provide hygiene packs called "Bags Of Hope" to be distributed to the homeless community. The point of the Bags Of Hope are to meet an immediate need for hygiene items that are seldom provided. In the Bags Of Hope will also be a list of wrap around services provided on a day to day basis, this will help individuals take the next steps in moving out of their disparity.
Bag Of Hope Includes: Comb/Brush, Deodorant, Chap stick, Washcloth, Wipes, Toothbrush/Toothpaste, Disposable Razor, Hand Sanitizer, Nail Clippers, Band Aids, Soap, Socks, Hats and Gloves.
All items should be unisex and unopened. Items can be regular or travel sized.
3 Easy Ways To Help:
1. Collect items for the Bags
2. Share the opportunity with family, friends, co-workers and at church
3. Make a financial donation (For instance, one Bag Of Hope for an adult is equal to $15 - $20)
Financial donations can be made to Somebody Cares Baltimore.
Attached is a flier with additional information.
