I have so many people to thank an can’t remember everyone’s names but you guys know who you are --- There is no way that me, Kathy & Chuck could of made this move without you - it would of taken us a week or more - it took us 3 weeks just to pack everything - 2 1/2 hours for you guys to load two trucks - You guys are amazing - You have left us speechless & very prideful to know and be a part of the Waterboyz Kingdom. I have a Titanium rod holding together what is left of my lower disc in my back - I'm on oxygen because of lung failure - Chuck is dying from Liver cancer - and has 2 stomach hernia's - Kathy is 5' 1 an 90 pounds -- We all are so grateful for all your help -- Thank You so much

A couple of years ago two Waterboyz helped purchase two rickshaws for two Christian brothers in Calcutta for $175 each. Contracts were drawn up with a repayment plan, accountability was put in place, and both rickshaws were paid for on time and per the terms of the agreement. This money was rolled over into funding two more rickshaws. So for a total of $350 there are now five rickshaws providing five Christian men with a Living wage. (see attached pictures – notice what is written on the back of each rickshaw). This is clearly a sustainable model for helping in a place of overwhelming need, a place where hope is barely hanging on.
A great example of ‘Digging more ditches!’
Pastor Raju in Calcutta is the man who has built an accountability team for all the micro businesses that the Waterboyz have funded over the years. (more than 100 at last count!) He recently sent a proposal for another ‘teach a man to fish’ initiative. Here is a riddle “How can resourcing five ladies help twenty ladies?” Here is the answer – for $110 per lady we can provide them with clothe inventory. They will go door-to-door in the working class neighborhoods and using the inventory of clothe along with the equipment they need to do the work, they will take orders and make simple clothing. They will earn enough profit (after materials and living wages) that in only four short months they will be able to pay back the entire $110.00. As soon as they do another five ladies will get resourced and so on and on and on. Cool stuff right?
So who wants a piece of this action?

Dear Church,
Last week I sent two emails out asking you to prayerfully consider helping purchase a plot of land located right next door to the Good News India Puri Dream Center. The need was immediate and HUGE! Only God could attract the resources needed to provide safety and blessing to 80 precious girls and boys!
You, the church rose up! Together with two generous matching donation offers $21,390.00 was donated and is now on the way to Good News India for this land purchase. WOW!
When I informed Dr. Rahman (Good News India founder & president) his response was priceless:
O wow... and double wow.... and again triple that....I am exuberantly grateful... Puri kids will dance tonight!

Dear Boyz,
Several weeks ago one of the guys from the 10MAN table that meets on Monday night was locked up for lots of good reasons. This man had drifted away from the table and slipped back into addiction, into a life of running and hiding, and increasingly his life became less and less. Just before he got locked up he sent me the following text “I choose God! I don’t know how long I’m going back to jail for but I’m deciding now that when I get out I’m getting out an already free man. I will get out as a man who knows the direction he is heading and I’m not looking back!” That my brothers is what our ministry is about! Believing that our God is a God of second chances. Believing that it is never too late – we’ve never screwed up too much. God is hovering by the door, looking down the road, waiting, ready, and when He sees that broken defeated son way in the distance He puts on His Nikes and He runs!
The mother of this man’s three kids had to move back into her mother’s home. So 5 or 6 Waterboyz showed up and became the ‘hands and feet’ of Jesus and helped her move. She broke down because of feeling overwhelmed by everything so we gave her a hug and told her we would be there for her. She told us she didn’t know what she would have done without having us to call. She called us her ‘guardian angels’ – and we all walked away from that experience seeing Jesus a little more clearly and loving Him even more deeply. While we were moving her we learned that the old beaten up van she had wouldn’t start. With one phone call a Waterboyz mechanic stepped into the picture and using the gifts he has been given for Kingdom influence soon the van was back on the road.
A few days later she called and said, “I am embarrassed to even be calling but is there anyone you know that could help me get the school supplies my kids need?” I gave this man’s 10MAN table leader a call. I asked if they would be willing to step in one more time in a ‘Isaiah 58 fast’ sort of way to help. Over a couple of weeks they collected $116 and yesterday Dale Parkhurst & Robert Clark went out shopping for school supplies.
Here is a note from Dale about the experience:
Our God is GREAT. Bob and I went to Wal-Mart today to get the school supplies. We had $116.00 and the supplies came to $116.05, and that included three backpacks for the three children that were not on the list. Our God so good. Thank you for this honor to the Lord this way. Dale & Robert
Men, we are going into places of rescue together that we could never go alone! Yesterday I received a letter from a man in the Detention center. In the letter he told me he met our brother and had heard about the Waterboyz for Jesus. He told me that he was going away for many years and wondered if we would let him start a 10MAN table in the prison he is being assigned to. He told me that he had stopped hoping that men like us even existed. But now he has hope, he has vision, he sees an appointment for his life. Soon he will be handing out drinks of Living Water to lost and dying men in places that Matthew 25 calls us to go. All because we are willing to get messy.
Hebrews 3 says three times – TODAY – our lives are all about TODAY – what is your God-appointment TODAY, your God-adventure TODAY? Let’s ROLL!
